Come play and experiment shooting creatively with me! This workshop is for everyone who wants to get creative in their work and become better in their craft. Applicable for all genres and all levels!

This workshop is for all photographers who know to shoot in manual.

Learning outcomes -

1. Harnessing the power of light - experimenting with different kinds of light indoors and outdoors.

2. Shooting in harsh light with use of perspective

3. Learning to incorporate movement

4. Incorporating shadows in your work

5. Working with dappled light

6. Incorporating OCF into your workflow for portraits

7. Playing with prisms and filters intentionally

8. Experimenting with multiple exposures

9. Image critiques for all attendees (Attendees will submit 1-3 images prior to the event)

11. 2 photo walks + 1 studio shoot

All participants will receive a handout highlighting what we’ll cover during the walk. Models will be made available to create and play with creativity. I will be available to answer any questions and provide assistance.

Learning objectives -

1. You will learn how to control and manipulate light in any given lighting condition!!! STOP being nervous about harsh light and learn how to use it creatively.

2. You will learn how to observe and create under pressure

3. You will learn how to direct your subjects without making them feel too stiff

4. You will leave with a portfolio of images that reflect YOU as an artist

5. You will learn editing tips to be a stronger photographer!
