"It's pretty simple for me- these may be the only pictures we'll have of me pregnant with him and with him as a newborn. It's not something my husband thinks to do. He's a great husband & father, but he doesn't ever think to capture those moments. And I hate asking him to take pictures because then it feels awkward. I also liked booking them at the same time because once he was here I had a million other things to think about, so having it prearranged guaranteed it happened. I probably would've put it off and then not had these wonderful pictures of him as a newborn!!! Thank you again! We are very happy with how they turned out!!!!"

"I would say that I chose to book my maternity and newborn shoots ahead of time because there's only so much you can leave up in the air after having a baby. I wanted to make sure and have this on the books so I didn't have to think about it after the baby arrived. It was great to already have it planned and just be ready at home for the photographer to arrive and capture the memories! I couldn't have asked for an easier arrangement and Jyo was such a pleasure to work with, making us feel at ease through the process, even when the little one wasn't quite cooperating she was very patient and kind. We are very happy with the photos and will cherish them for a long long time."

She brought dresses and flowers crowns for the maternity shoot; my daughter and I have the sweetest mom and daughter photo with matching crowns, does it get any better?! “My husband and I had such a wonderful experience working with Jyo for our maternity and newborn photos. She was incredibly easy to work with as she was consistently prompt and professional in all communications/arrangements. She provided ample details regarding her photography experience and shared helpful tips on how to have successful photoshoots from location, timing, attire, props, etc. Jyo helped us pick the perfect setting for our maternity photos (we chose Beals Point in Folsom upon her recommendation) and she even allowed me to borrow a beautiful maternity gown from her collection to save me the trouble and expense of finding my own. We were thrilled with the photos she captured at our maternity session and had complete confidence that we would love our newborn photos too. For the newborn photography session, we again followed Jyo's recommendation of having the photoshoot in our home. She arrived on time and prepared with a bag full of props for us to borrow. Of course babies will be babies, our son was not as cooperative as we would have preferred, but Jyo was patient and creative to capture many sweet photos we absolutely adore. We are looking forward to working with Jyo again for future family photos and highly recommend her to others. A special thanks goes to Jyo for capturing many stunning photos for us to enjoy for years to come of this special time in life."
