This month I am honored to be a part of the talented Artists Inspired Blog Circle for the theme 'PINK' . A lot of you might know that pink represents October for its breast cancer awareness month.
For this theme's challenge; and as being a part of the Artists blog circle, we are required to post a little story behind the images for the theme chosen. I decided to bring out my 50 mm macro lens and see some daily and random objects through the lens. To me, since I started photographing people, I rarely get time to focus on simple things which we see around us all the time. I decided to take this opportunity and post images where you an see highlights of PINK in our everyday life and objects such as a candle, a comb, some shopkins that my kids enjoy playing with, little pieces of jewelry, earrings, an eraser, my lip gloss, pink flowers and of course a pink ribbon.
Here's my take on this week's theme and images to along with it. You will also observe that some of these images were shot under different lighting conditions - 100% natural light with no artificial lights, with interior lights on (Compact fluorescent lights, and LED with different color temperatures) and hence a little 'warmness' and 'coolness' to some of these images while they were also slightly enhanced in post to 'study' the different interior lighting conditions.
To start off, here is an image from a shopkin from my daughter's closet -
